Elke receives 5 step moisture treatment for damaged hair.

So when Elke came to Afrodita she had already played a little with her hair on her own. She had colored in darker before and wanted it be a little lighter again. Though she was afraid that it had become somewhat damaged from all the coloring she had. She was right.

So we decided to do a 5 step moisture treatment for a hair before coloring, strengthening it again and preparing it for the color.

Yoshiko added the lighter colors as highlighting streaks and finished with iron straightening.

A huge difference from before. The cut did her hair well, gone is her frizzy dark hair. And welcome to the new lighter smooth hair, it fits her wonderfully.

Aksel gets more texture for his anime hair.

So Aksel came to Afrodita with a very interesting request. He was going to a costume party with his friend and had to have his hair improved a little upon.
So have you heard of Onepiece? It’s a famous japanese anime, and Aksel wanted to look like ‘Sanji’ from One piece.Yoshiko is generally up for any challenge, this one included.

So lets see what she could do for him! ;D

His hair was generally a bit too flat to be considered ‘anime’  hair, which is more ‘all over the place’  and has a lot of texture. So Yoshiko texturized it and gave it more movement. Ofcourse while looking at a picture of Sanji.

The result is a wilder looking haircut, the texture adds the necesary anime look to it he was looking for.

Stacey chose a warmer color.

Stacey already had highlights on top when she came to Afrodita. The highlights were a little bit too much for her taste though, she wanted an overall warmer tone.

So first of all Yoshiko gave her a nice trim, and applied a warmer toned color afterwards.

A little Iron straightening and you have an absolute stunning result. Smooth and shiny.

Kelly recharges hair color with a lot of highlights.

It was time for Kelly to do something about her hair. It had been a while, so here she was! Her color had begun to fade and had lost its power, so that definitely needed attention.

The rest of the hair was in dire need of getting its color recharged, so Yoshiko gave her alot of thin highlights, adding life to her hair. The finishing touch was done by straightening the hair with iron.

The result is beautiful smooth hair. The fine highlights really gives it an incredible shine and energy. The small cute sidesweep bang completes the look.

Today Mimi visited Afrodita with a little challenge. The challenge being her hair that needed a little bit of attention.
Not only did she have the classic reappearing roots problem, but her hair had also grown somewhat out of shape with a touch of frizziness to it.
Challenge accepted! 😉

Yoshiko cut her hair back into shape and texturized it a bit, but all without cutting too much of the length of her hair. Then the roots were adresssed and finished with iron straightening.

What Mimi ended up with was really beautiful long hair. The blond color thrives with energy, her bangs over her forehead finally fit propely and complete this wonderful new look.
