Melanie asks for new look, gets swooping bangs and brightened color.

When Melanie came to Afrodita, her hair didn’t have much styling to it. Bangs were brushed to the side and her hair parted just off-center. she wanted a change.

Some locks were trimmed and styled to give her long, front, sweeping bangs. Melanie had highlights applied to brighten up her hair and her roots were treated for a consistent look.

She wanted a lighter color than she had received prior, and Yoshiko was very happy to brighten up the hair.

Melanie’s before and after shots show a dramatic change. She now has fringe in the front and hair that is easier to style and color that opens up new options for her look.

This was Melanie’s first visit here. Before she left, she made plans to do a bit more color next time and to cut the hair shorter. But first she wanted to see if she’d be happy with this new look.

Melanie came back to us to finish her hairstyle and try to get it even shorter. Her normal hair color has a dark ashy tone, and she wants to go lighter aswell. The change was very nice last time, so how is the result looking this time around?

She got her hair brightened up with a warmer color and cut a good deal shorter. Which gives her a cute stylish look fitting her amazingly well.

Brenna has lowlights added, texture given to her hair.

Brenna came in to have her hair colored and to make a change to her style. She had a lot of hair to work with, so many options were available.

First, she went with a darker color than what she had. This meant a lot of lowlights. Two different colors were used to add depth to it, and then toner was applied to give it a natural finish.

She did keep some lighter parts in front for a bit of contrast. Afterward, for the cut she went with a shaggy bob. As a result, the back of Brenna’s hair now has a lot of texture to really show off the new coloring.

Kelly adds front bangs to an already wonderful look.

Kelly came in for a cut but didn’t want anything too dramatic. She already had long, healthy, and vibrant hair, so it was a simple visit.

The hair in the back was trimmed up a bit, and layers were added. She didn’t want much of a change, however, she did ask for some fringe in the front. Yoshiko gave her huge bangs and a little bit of a curl at the end of the locks that rest in front.

Laura goes from medium to short-length asymmetrical bob.

Laura came in to Afrodita with medium-length hair. Her request was to go shorter and end up with an asymmetrical bob.

The hair in the back was long and full, but there was a lot of it and not a lot of style. They decided quite a bit should be trimmed off take make it more manageable. Along with this, the locks on the sides were trimmed up to take away some wisps.

Yoshiko tamed Laura’s hair, and by cutting it short some of the waviness of the hair was removed. Laura now has short fringe with a nice, clean look.
