First time customer John had wavy and thick hair. It was rather long and out of shape, so he wanted a more formal look to his hair.
Yoshiko cut his hair shorter and shaped up all the wavy parts.
Johns new hair cut is slicker and feels more organized. Well now he’ll be ready for jobinterviews and dates, whatever he will use his new haircut for, one advantage it has for sure.

Brenna came in to have her hair colored and to make a change to her style. She had a lot of hair to work with, so many options were available.
First, she went with a darker color than what she had. This meant a lot of lowlights. Two different colors were used to add depth to it, and then toner was applied to give it a natural finish.
She did keep some lighter parts in front for a bit of contrast. Afterward, for the cut she went with a shaggy bob. As a result, the back of Brenna’s hair now has a lot of texture to really show off the new coloring.
Claire came in with an asymmetrical style she wanted to keep, but asked for it to be cut shorter. Yoshiko knew exactly what needed to be done.
She kept the style of partial over-the-face fringe, but had it shortened just a little. The strands on the opposite side were trimmed considerably shorter, as well as the hair at the back of her neck.
Claire has a hip style perfect for a teenager. Easy-to-style tresses with a bit of texture on the back help to make this look stand out.
When Amanda first came in to Afrodita, she had thick, dark roots showing. Along with getting those taken care of, she wanted to have her locks trimmed.
Yoshiko gave Amanda highlights with lowlights to restore the blonde color desired. The combination adds a more full look to her hair.
Afterward, Amanda’s hair was cut and styled to show more of her face. Yoshiko also added some texture to the hair to give it some depth.
For her next time in, she said she would get a major change and have her hair cut shorter.
Sarah’s hair was long all over, but she only wanted length in the front. Having consulted with Yoshiko, she decided to go short on the rest of her strands.
Hair that used to extend to the nape of her neck now flairs out in the back with wispy strands that add texture. Combined with the sweeping front bangs, the new style gives a playful appearance.
