Rena – a little princess with natural wavy hair

Rena looked like a little cheeky angel when she came to the hair salon with her mother. She had long and volumous hair which curled naturally. She was having her very first hair cut in a hair salon.  Let’s see what changes Yoshiko could bring to this sweet girl.

Since Rena is still a child, hair styling like perms or straightening is not recommended, so instead Yoshiko cut her hair into layers and shaped it up to be framed around her face.Yoshiko also trimmed it to decrease some of  crazy hair volume. Fringe was made to be shorter and brushed to the side. Rena’s natural curled hair is very compatible for this kind of hair style.

Simple, but effective haircut for Randy

First time customer Randy asked for a simple haircut. He wants it to be tidy and neat, to fit his his steady character.

Yoshiko cut his hair shorter, shaped in the two sides and gave some texture on the top. This style itself is nice, and will help him to style his hair easily  whenever he wants to.

Sometimes, a 30 minutes hair cut is all what you need to get a great look. Randy was quite surprised and pleased when checking it himself in the mirror. Glad to make you happy Randy. ;P

 

Joel got a Mohican style haircut.

Joel wanted a drastic change for his thick wavy hair. It was difficult for him to style his hair everyday, so he asked for a different hairstyle at his sides.

Yoshiko gave him nothing less than a Mohican haircut, which she cut very short at the sides and left the hair longer at the top. A lot of texture also helped to decrease the volume of hair.

As always, a Mohican style brings about a cool appearance for the ones who possess it.  And this case was no different.

Jenna’s transformation from blonde to keen brunette.

Jenna came to Afrodita with dark blonde hair and asked for a total recoloring. She wanted to go black and change her image.

So Yoshiko colored with dark brown color to give a sharper appearance, afterwards she gave her a trim and created some layers and texture for depth and volume.

She got what she asked for. 🙂  The dark hair gives her a stronger and fiercer look, while her glasses gives it a cute finish.
Also, blending in with japanese crowds is a lot easier now. ;P

Jonathan drastic change, spiky hair!

First time customer Jonathan had straight thick hair, which was very difficult for him to style. He asked for a hair cut and and a decrease hair volume, so that he finally could hope to have a bit control over it again.

Yoshiko cut his hair very short at sides, while leaving longer hair on the top. This way Jonathan was able to make create spikes, pointing forward, quite well. A lot of texture was also added to shape up his thick hair.

What a change for this cool guy! He looks much more active and fresh with this style. And see how well the hair style and his beard match now.
