Milena goes with dark, urban color and new cut.

Milena hadn’t had a cut in quite some time, and it was in need of shaping. It was curly and poofing out to the sides.

After speaking with Yoshiko, she decided that a short bob cut with a dark, urban, terra cotta color would give the look desired. We used a semi-permanent color without chemicals. It’s easy to wash out, and is helpful for those who want to try out a color without damaging their hair.

The length all over was trimmed up–no longer does it fall down to her shoulders.

Milena’s hair is now in an easier to manage state. Not much styling or blow drying is required, and the new cut gives her eyes and skin a sharper look with a youthful appearance.

Tessa #2: She returned to add color to her locks.

After being pleased with the results of her first visit, Tessa returned to Afrodita. But this time she wanted to add color to her hair.

She wanted to go with a color that would match well with her skin tone. Yoshiko and her decided a burgundy color would contrast well with her complexion.

Her styling remained the same as when she came in, but her hair was given new life with the new color. The natural curls in Tessa’s hair help to catch the light and give off the appearance of different shades of red.

Caroline’s frizz taken out, beautiful shine shows through.

Caroline came in with long, frizzy hair that she wanted made manageable. She had long roots that were in need of being touched up and ends that needed to be taken care of.

Caroline received highlights and lowlights to brighten up her hair and catch the light. Yoshiko tried to equalize the color of her hair to give a uniform look.

The ends of Caroline’s hair were damaged, so they were trimmed up just a bit. Yoshiko concealed the frizz by use of layering and adding texture and taking out some of the natural brass color in her hair.

In the end, Caroline’s hair looks healthy and shiny.

Aimee has her beautiful locks touched up.

Aimee already had beautiful locks, but there was a little bit of coloring on her roots showing up that she wanted to cover up.

Yoshiko gave her natural-color highlights to conceal the unwanted color. Afterward, toner was applied to give off a natural, sun-bleached look. Her hair was then thinned out to decrease some of its volume.

The result is radiant hair that not only looks healthy, but also youthful. With a slight trim and highlighting, Aimee has a bright, new  glow.

Valerie has hair rejuvinated, colored.

Valerie came in with hair lacking luster and in need of rejuvenation. Yoshiko and her talked and figured out what needed to be done.

She didn’t like the yellow base of highlights that she had prior–she wanted to go a little bit cooler. This in turn would help make the shades look more natural.

Valerie’s natural hair color is not so dark, but the color looks a bit flat. Yoshiko gave her highlights and lowlights to add some vibrancy and life to it. Afterward, toner was applied to ensure a natural appearance.
