Joel got a Mohican style haircut.

Joel wanted a drastic change for his thick wavy hair. It was difficult for him to style his hair everyday, so he asked for a different hairstyle at his sides.

Yoshiko gave him nothing less than a Mohican haircut, which she cut very short at the sides and left the hair longer at the top. A lot of texture also helped to decrease the volume of hair.

As always, a Mohican style brings about a cool appearance for the ones who possess it.  And this case was no different.

Kiyomi recoloring, glamour and simplicity.

Regular customer Kiyomi wanted to have a color correction for her faded out blonde hair. Besides that, a new haircut was suggested to her.

Yoshiko restored Kiyomi’s color with these 3 colors: Bright highlights, deep pink  and purple. This might sound a little extreme at first, but the combination of these three charming colors is what brings forth her hairs hidden potential.She also got asymmetrical bob blunt cut ,which is very compatible with her face. A bit of glamour with some basic style makes this fit well with her.

Kiyomi’s hair became nice after all of these changes in color and style. She is satisfied with her new look, and so are we.

Natsuki’s big change.From long hair to short.

Natsuki came in with long, thick hair. She didn’t like the heavy look she had, so she asked Yoshiko to cut it short. To give her a new look for good.

No problem!

So Yoshiko gave her a bob style with bangs to frame her face. The short hair also brings her an more active energetic look. The hair looks more vigorous in this new style.Overall it gives off a livelier vibe, and who doesn’t enjoy life?

Bob style is very nice for Natsuki’s face, it suits her well, she’s really cute now. This should convince more of you out there to try a shorter hair style, it can be quite surprising.

Jenna’s transformation from blonde to keen brunette.

Jenna came to Afrodita with dark blonde hair and asked for a total recoloring. She wanted to go black and change her image.

So Yoshiko colored with dark brown color to give a sharper appearance, afterwards she gave her a trim and created some layers and texture for depth and volume.

She got what she asked for. 🙂  The dark hair gives her a stronger and fiercer look, while her glasses gives it a cute finish.
Also, blending in with japanese crowds is a lot easier now. ;P

Karla receiving Japanese thermal straightening using Miconos solution

First time customer Karla asked for a new look for her dry, color fading hair. She wanted it to get a proper shape again, but still keep the length of her hair.

Lots of change was done by Yoshiko to  give Karla the new hair she wanted. She restored the color with dark cool brown for base color, put few pieces of highlight on top. Then she did ‘Japanese thermal straightening’ using Miconos solution to preserve moisture, provide naturally straight, shiny and fluid looking hair. Finally, Yoshiko did a hair cut, to give it a overall better shape while keeping the length.

What Karla ended up with after this procedure, was nice tidy, glossy hair. It has become quite sophisticated while still easy to maintain. The best from two worlds.

–Update!–

When Karla came again to Afrodita for the second time, her color had begun fading a lot from last time. So that definitely needed attention, but she wanted to go a bit darker than she normally would. But not just a boring dark.
Lets see what Yoshiko did for her. 😉

Yoshiko colored her hair darker, with a touch of several lighter ends, some darker, some lighter. Then she gave her a good layered cut with the intention of creating a wavy look.

The Result is quite phenomenal. The new dark and light colors create wonderful multidimentional ends, which emphasizes the beautiful texture of her wavy hair.
