Melyssa’s daughter got a cute, asymmetrical bob

Melyssa’s daughter is among the cutest customers we’ve had. She came in with her long wavy hair. And her mother asked for a change to her hair that looked good, aswell as being more convenient for play and maintaining.

With children, hair cut is the only styling method that is recommended. Asymmetrical bob was chosen to give this little girl a sprightly look.

Her blonde hair was cut shorter inher back, longer in sides, and one side is longer than the other. The parting also was changed to show her face better.

The little customer now looks even cuter :D, both her and her mother like this style very much. This short hair is also appropriate for children since it is easy to keep tidy and clean, and you dont have to do the brushing all the time, that children don’t always feel like doing.

Kay’s color touch up and vivid red streaks

Kay came to Afrodita with red hair which was starting fading out. She asked for a recoloring and shape up.

Yoshiko touched up Kay’s hair with the same red color as last time, but also added vivid red streaks in the back to make it look fresher. Her hair was trimmed up with lots of layers and nice bangs were made. A little styling was used to make hair look straight.

Kay received a big change with this look. Her hair is tidy and fresh with red highlights, and the bangs made her face more charming.

Stephanie’s time to shine.

Stephanie had really long hair when she came to Afrodita. It was rather smooth, and hadn’t seen a scissor for quite a while, and it was time to change that.

A good amount of hair was cut, Yoshiko then shaped her hair up in layers, framed it around her face and made it follow her facelane. The bangs were made to touch her eyebrow.

Since a lot of length was cut, it looks fuller and healthier now. It also has quite the shine to it aswell, it looks good on her!

Rebekah got the warmer hair she desired.

Rebekah’s blond hair had started to fade when she came to Afrodita. Dark color came out about 4-5 inches at the roots, and her hair had become too long and dry. It was also a little wavy, which she didn’t like too much, so she wanted to get it straightened aswell.

Yoshiko gave her a color correction by adding golden color to the roots. Thick bright highlights were applied to strands, giving her the warmer color effect she wanted.

Her hair was cut in length, bangs were also trimmed up and texture was added for a complete look. Layers were made and her hair is now straight and framed around the face.

The new hair changed her look considerably, it has a more natural appearance color now. Her face became so much brighter and more charming after this change. Probably due to happiness from the haircut 😀

Jessica came four times for a gradual OMBRE coloring.

Yoshiko Style

Jessica has been a regular at for Afrodita for quite a while. We’ll take a look at two different times she came.

The first time she came with dark straight hair. She wished for a brighter color, but gradually and not too sudden.

For this request, Yoshiko gave her a coloring technique called ‘soft OMBRE’, which would brighten her hair color up over a longer period of time. At this time, Jessica got a dark golden beige color with highlights on top.

The second time Jessica came, her hair showed off the full effect of her natural wavy hair.

Yoshiko gave Jessicas whole head highlights and added a toner afterwards. She also straightened the wavy hair by style.

Jessica’s hair has became brighter in a slower and more natural feely way. The new color changed her appearance gradually for a brighter look. She’ll come again to finish up this procedure.

–Update!–

When Jessica came to afrodita her hair had gotten a bit too curly for her taste and her darker roots had started to appear again. She needed to change something about this, and so she did, take a look at her fabulous journey.

Yoshiko did a touch up on her roots, bleached them all out. She then added highlights and lowlights on top, and a toner.

The result is nice looking shiny straight hair, a very big different from before. Alot of highlights were added to create this different looking hair.It looks amazing!

–Update!–

This time Jessica wanted some basic toner and straightened her hair with iron.

Yoshiko applied toner and made her hair a bit brighter and straigther by iron.

As always Jessica leaves Afrodita with a splendid new look. Take care ! 🙂

Forward time by a couple of weeks, and Jessica’s roots have started to show again, plus her curly hair does what curly hair loves to do.

So Yoshiko cut her ends and colored her hair in a darker ombre tone this time, aswell as adding a few brighter highlights for the overall style. This should make her reapearing roots have less dominance when they return.

Finishing with iron straightening the hair, Jessica is left with a beautiful hairstyle. But we have a feeling it might just be her that makes every cut look good aswell ;).
