Brenna has lowlights added, texture given to her hair.

Brenna came in to have her hair colored and to make a change to her style. She had a lot of hair to work with, so many options were available.

First, she went with a darker color than what she had. This meant a lot of lowlights. Two different colors were used to add depth to it, and then toner was applied to give it a natural finish.

She did keep some lighter parts in front for a bit of contrast. Afterward, for the cut she went with a shaggy bob. As a result, the back of Brenna’s hair now has a lot of texture to really show off the new coloring.

Adeienne has her locks trimmed, swooping bangs added.

This was Adeienne’s second time in, and she wanted to lighten her hair to a platinum-blonde color, as well as add bangs to her look. After discussing with Yoshiko the different ways to go, they decided on a trim with the addition of front, sweeping bangs.

Yoshiko applied highlights and lowlights to give Adeienne the platinum color she wanted. However, because her hair is naturally dark, toner was applied to take out some of the brassiness. Had that not been done, the hair would have turned an orange or yellow color.

Adeienne’s hair ended up the color she was hoping for, with a style that gives more definition to her face. And her locks look softer and inviting to touch.

Aimee has her beautiful locks touched up.

Aimee already had beautiful locks, but there was a little bit of coloring on her roots showing up that she wanted to cover up.

Yoshiko gave her natural-color highlights to conceal the unwanted color. Afterward, toner was applied to give off a natural, sun-bleached look. Her hair was then thinned out to decrease some of its volume.

The result is radiant hair that not only looks healthy, but also youthful. With a slight trim and highlighting, Aimee has a bright, new  glow.

Valerie has hair rejuvinated, colored.

Valerie came in with hair lacking luster and in need of rejuvenation. Yoshiko and her talked and figured out what needed to be done.

She didn’t like the yellow base of highlights that she had prior–she wanted to go a little bit cooler. This in turn would help make the shades look more natural.

Valerie’s natural hair color is not so dark, but the color looks a bit flat. Yoshiko gave her highlights and lowlights to add some vibrancy and life to it. Afterward, toner was applied to ensure a natural appearance.
