Mimi with a smooth hair and bangs.

Today Mimi visited Afrodita with a little challenge. The challenge being her hair that needed a little bit of attention.
Not only did she have the classic reappearing roots problem, but her hair had also grown somewhat out of shape with a touch of frizziness to it.
Challenge accepted! 😉

Yoshiko cut her hair back into shape and texturized it a bit, but all without cutting too much of the length of her hair. Then the roots were adresssed and finished with iron straightening.

What Mimi ended up with was really beautiful long hair. The blond color thrives with energy, her bangs over her forehead finally fit propely and complete this wonderful new look.

Manuelas brighter hair color!

Manuela had avoided coming to a hairsalon for a while after a bad experience. Lets see if we can’t change that for her? 😉
She wanted to brighten up her hair with some lighter color and shape up the cut a bit.

So Yoshiko chose to use a lot of highlights to achieve the brigther hair color effect. And then she gave her a cut, reducing a lot of her hair, making it look more complete.

In the end Manuela got what she deserved. A good looking cute haircut, with lots of bright highlights to give it the freshness and energy she was looking for.

Mary with her new straight hair.

Mary visited us with her wavy hair, which was just waiting to be tamed. So she opted to go for a cut that would do just that :).

She cut the ends and reduced the wavyness by straightening her hair by ironing.

An amazing looking result. Mary’s cute straight hair gives her a completely different look.

Ashley gets an classic S wave haircut.

 

Ashley had super long hair when she visited Afrodita. And that was pretty much it. She wanted something fancy done to it, but no colors or anything like that.

So Yoshiko layered hair long hair to create some depth and body to it. Voluminous and wavy hair is Yoshinos goal here. At the end  she created big wavy curls with an iron.

The result is a classic S wave haircut. Her long hair had great potential for this haircut, and it looks truely amazing on her. The layers give her a lot more volume and body, just as Yoshiko predicted ;P

Lau – Low temp Totallink moisture perm for more volume!

Lau came to Afrodita to get more volume to her hair. She wanted a perm to ‘buff’ it up and get more texture to it, unfurtunally her hair had a little damage though, so special measurements had to be taken.

Yoshiko decided still to give her a digital perm, but adding Totallink moisture beforehand and giving her a low heat perm. These procedures repair damaged hair a little, aswell as inflicting as little damage as possible.

Lau’s hair really got a lot of volume after the treatment, without destroying the hair any further.  The totallink moisture perm really is good for damaged hair. This hairstyle suits her well. Rock on!
